Head Spa & Scalp Detox

What is it?
A head spa and scalp detox are both hair and scalp treatments designed to improve hair health, relax, and address specific scalp concerns.

Benefits:

  1. Deep Cleansing: The treatment often involves a deep cleanse to remove buildup from hair products, dirt, and excess oils.

  2. Relaxation, Stress Relief, and Improved Blood Circulation: The scalp massage used during a head spa helps to relieve tension, reduce stress, and promote relaxation.

  3. Addressing Scalp Conditions: A detox may help with scalp issues like dandruff, itching, or oiliness by restoring balance to the scalp’s environment.

  4. Improved Follicle Health: By clearing out impurities, a scalp detox helps prevent clogged follicles, which can lead to hair thinning or dandruff.

  5. Stimulating Hair Growth: Removing buildup can improve the absorption of nutrients to the scalp, potentially stimulating healthier hair growth.

How often should I get my Head Spa done?

The frequency of head spa treatments depends on your hair and scalp needs, but generally, here’s a good guideline:

  • For Maintenance & Relaxation: Once a month is ideal for regular maintenance and relaxation. It’s enough to keep your scalp and hair in healthy condition, relieve stress, and promote relaxation without overdoing it.

  • For Specific Scalp Concerns: If you’re dealing with issues like dandruff, oily scalp, or dryness, you might want to get a head spa every 2–3 weeks until you see improvement. Afterward, you can scale back to monthly treatments.
